Recently, Deborah, an aspiring speech-language pathologist, spent time shadowing Joyce Sanya, M.S., CCC-SLP at FutureCare Sandtown. The experience offered Deborah a real glimpse into a day in the life of speech pathology. From observing patient care and clinical evaluations to witnessing the compassion and attention that define Joyce’s work, the day provided hands-on insight that simply cannot be replicated in a classroom.
