BreatheStrong helps patients understand their disease process and learn energy conservation skills to be more successful at home. This can help reduce the chance of re-hospitalization.

Our unique program will help you breathe better
The BreatheStrong team includes your attending physician and pulmonologist, nurses, therapists, and other professionals trained with a focus on pulmonary rehab. Our therapists teach strategies to help you maximize energy, breathe properly, improve endurance, and better understand how to manage your disease long term.
Program Features
Full-time respiratory therapist as part of the interdisciplinary team
Therapy services are available up to 7 days per week
Focus on education to better understand and manage your disease
Improve endurance and reduce reliance on oxygen
BetterBreathers Club for support post-discharge
Interdisciplinary care managed by pulmonologist, nurse practitioner, respiratory therapists, physical, occupational and speech therapists, physiatrist, dietitian, social workers and pharmacist
