The BreatheStrong program helps patients with chronic respiratory disease such as COPD, asthma, emphysema, and interstitial lung disease. BreatheStrong helps patients understand their disease process and learn energy conservation skills to be more successful at home. This can help reduce the chance of re-hospitalization.
Our unique program will help you breathe better
The BreatheStrong team includes your attending physician and pulmonologist, nurses, therapists, and other professionals trained with a focus on pulmonary rehab. Our therapists teach strategies to help you maximize energy, breathe properly, improve endurance, and better understand how to manage your disease long term.
Full-time respiratory therapist as part of the interdisciplinary team
Therapy services are available up to 7 days per week
Focus on education to better understand and manage your disease
Improve endurance and reduce reliance on oxygen
BetterBreathers Club for support post-discharge
Interdisciplinary care managed by pulmonologist, nurse practitioner, respiratory therapists, physical, occupational and speech therapists, physiatrist, dietitian, social workers and pharmacist
