WalkStrong is FutureCare’s orthopedic rehabilitation program. WalkStrong is for patients who are recovering from fractures, joint replacements, spinal injuries, and other traumatic incidents that impact strength, balance, and mobility.
WalkStrong is available at all 15 FutureCare locations and provides each patient with an individualized treatment plan focused on getting you home as quickly and safely as possible.

Walk with confidence
Our mission with Walkstrong is getting you up and walking with confidence so you can return to your normal daily activities. We teach you how to maneuver safely as well as give you the education you need to continue your recouperation at home.
Program Features
WalkStrong is offered up to seven days per week by in-house therapists
Multidisciplinary approach to care, with treatment plans managed by physicians, physiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists and dietitians
Experience treating medically complex patients who also have orthopedic issues
Electronic medical records and wireless internet utilities
State-of-the-art equipment
Several of our facilities have been designated as WalkStrong Centers of Excellence and have access to cutting-edge technology and equipment like the Alter G anti-gravity treadmill, Nuraxon gait analysis treadmill, Biolase laser, PhysioTouch, Game Ready edema management system, and the Biodex balance retrainer. This innovative technology helps patients maximize function and expedite recovery.
